A house on the white pebbles of the Drava retain the memory of a time when the scent of ’mlinci’ spread around the bread oven and hot walnut roll wafted out of the hot brick oven, when life was lived more quietly and families gratefully gathered around the family table. Here this tradition lives on, carefully nurtured as a rich pledge to the future. The golden hands of hospitable housewives bring antiquity to life in every detail. In every old chest and mirror, and on every bench and discarded wooden wheel, the authenticity of the house and property are preserved in the Arcadian peace of gentle nature.
